Sreeja Smith is a local poet and spoken word artist in St. Louis. She has performed in various venues including Sistah Speak at Cicero's. Sreeja's work has been published, and some of her current writing is available to view at VividlyFading.com. Sreeja is also a trained massage therapist and Reiki healer. She is new to the playback scene, having joined the company in the fall of 2007.  Sreeja shares the company vision of giving voices to the disenfranchised. She works with youth on a weekly basis who are battling drug/alcohol dependency.  "These young people are so passionate and ready to go! It amazes me how strong our children are and how we often turn off our ears and minds to what we perceive as feeble voices.  These kids are the best thing we've got going for us."
